How to Stamp Using Foam Stamps with Acrylic Paint
with Michelle Lindenmayer

Foam stamps come in lots of different alphabet fonts and shapes. The great thing about foam stamps is that they can be used over and over again and just by changing your paint colour, you can get so many different looks for your pages.

What You Need:
• Cardstock
• Foam Stamps
• Foam Brushes
• Acrylic Paint
• Tray for your Paint
Step 1
Select a paint colour that you would like to use and squirt some out onto your tray.
Step 2
Select the stamp that you would like to use and hold it in your non-writing hand.
Step 3
Take your foam brush and dab it in the paint. You only need a small amount so try not to overload your brush.
Step 4
Pick up your foam stamp and brush some paint onto the stamp with your foam brush. Again, try not to overload the stamp with paint or you could smudge your pattern.
Step 5
Carefully place your foam stamp face down onto your page. It is easier to place the stamp straight down and not on an angle.
Step 6
Hold your stamp with one hand and gently press down on the top of the stamp with your other hand.
Step 7
Pull your stamp carefully off the page and put your piece of cardstock to one side to dry. This should only take a few minutes.
