What Adhesive to Use for Your Projects
with Michelle Hartjes

There are such a variety of adhesives on the market it can be confusing deciding what you should use on your projects. In this video we show you what to look for.

What is it?
An adhesive is any type of product that we use to stick our projects or pages together. It comes in many forms such as tape, glue stick, spray, glue dots and many more.

What is it used for?
Adhesives are used to hold our photos, embellishments and papers in place on our scrapbook pages or projects.

Why do we like it?
Good adhesives mean that our works of art will last long-term without falling apart!

Features to look out for:
It is important to look out for good quality brands with adhesives. You don’t want to spend lots of time on your creations only to have them fall apart with inferior adhesive products. Also make sure your adhesives are acid free.

My best buy recommendation
My best buy recommendation is Print Blocks permanent mounting tape - it is great value for money, easy to tear or cut and holds a variety of surfaces permanently. It also comes in two different widths (6 or 12 mm).

My favourite
My favourite adhesive is the Pritt Power Glue stick - it never comes apart afterwards and it is quick to use.  I also likes the Pritt power gel for any embellishments. For extra dimension I use the Helmar liquid scrap dots.

Tips
Always have an extra glue stick and roll of tape on hand, there is nothing worse than running out of adhesive late at night when you almost finished a page or project.
